In early 2019, writer and director George Colburn was featured on C-Span’s “Oral Histories” to discuss his interviews with six Navajo Code Talkers and their family members. These interviews took place in their homes on the Navajo Nation, at Camp Pendleton (where they learned the code), and on five island battlefields of the Pacific (where they used the code).
